Huntersville, December 2023 – The talented small ensembles of the Cornelius Youth Orchestras entertained audiences this past holiday season with enchanting performances at key community events.
The Apollo Quartet, a string ensemble comprised of the principal string musicians of the CYO Orchestra program, graced the stage at a private event for the residents of the Waterford Community. Their performance of timeless holiday melodies created a festive ambiance, spreading joy to the residents. The quartet also performed at the Seasons of Giving Whobalation fundraiser hosted at the Northstone Community. It was a wonderful opportunity for these young musicians to showcase their skills in celebration of the holiday spirit.
In another delightful performance, a Brass Trio from the Brass Ensemble program of the Cornelius Youth Orchestras took stage at the American Legion Hall, sponsored by Angels & Sparrows. The combination of brass instruments provided a unique and heartwarming experience for all attendees, adding a special touch to the holiday festivities.
