Cornelius, NC – [November 13, 2024] – GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a day for “radical generosity” according to its creators. The movement encourages people across the world to make a difference in their local communities by giving in whatever way they can to causes that resonate with them.
During this giving season, CYO students have been challenged to register one monthly donor each to support CYO in its mission to provide first class music education and performing opportunities to aspiring young musicians. Also, in anticipation of GivingTuesday, several generous community members gathered at Kunu Coffee inside Lake Forest Church, Huntersville to stuff mailers to be sent to arts and music supporters. Every supporter, from those who are able to give of their time and abilities to those who are able to give financially, is a valued member of the CYO community every day of the year.
This GivingTuesday, support CYO and make a difference in the lives of young musicians.
